| KEY FACTS:
ADPEP is a six hour, information-based, alcohol and drug abuse
education and prevention program. ADPEP is NOT a Treatment Program!!!
It is delivered in 3, 2-hour sessions, and is available in each
of our 5 counties - Ontario, Schuyler, Seneca, Wayne and Yates.
The topics cover Alcohol and Drugs, the Power of Choice,
Family Systems, Effects on Adolescents, Addiction, etc., and includes "homework"
assignments.
The fee for the program is $50. Availability depends
upon the schedule, but courses may be added for a group of participants as appropriate.
Referrals are accepted from the criminal justice and court
systems, from schools, from other agencies, from parents and families... and of course
self-referrals are always welcomed!
ADPEP is confidential, the only information shared will be
with referring agents only.
ADPEP is a unique approach to education and prevention, and is
NOT treatment.
