ADPEP

ALCOHOL and DRUG PREVENTION EDUCATION PROGRAM

A 3-session, 6-hour prevention and education program
for young adults ages 14 - 20!

KEY FACTS:

     ADPEP is a six hour, information-based, alcohol and drug abuse education and prevention program.  ADPEP is NOT a Treatment Program!!!  
     It is delivered in 3, 2-hour sessions, and is available in each of our 5 counties - Ontario, Schuyler, Seneca, Wayne and Yates.

     The topics cover Alcohol and Drugs, the Power of Choice, Family Systems, Effects on Adolescents, Addiction, etc., and includes "homework" assignments.

     The fee for the program is $50.  Availability depends upon the schedule, but courses may be added for a group of participants as appropriate.

     Referrals are accepted from the criminal justice and court systems, from schools, from other agencies, from parents and families... and of course self-referrals are always welcomed!

     ADPEP is confidential, the only information shared will be with referring agents only.

     ADPEP is a unique approach to education and prevention, and is NOT treatment.

     If you believe that your child has an alcohol or drug problem, ADPEP is NOT the appropriate program, but call and we can assist you with referral information.
